Dental Implant Options

Dental Implant Bridges

58 Dental has extensive experience in the placement and restoration of dental implants. An implant bridge is one option for the replacement of multiple missing teeth, especially when there is no distal abutment, or posterior tooth. Depending on the size of the edentulous area, typically two implants are placed to support the dental implant bridge.

Dental implant bridges can replace old removable partials. Most patients don’t like partials because they come in and out of the mouth, are bulky, and trap a lot of food. Dental implant bridges fix all of these problems. The process of getting a dental implant bridge is similar to a single tooth implant.

Once the implants have osseointegrated, or healed, then an impression of the implants is taken. The diagnostic information is submitted to a dental lab where the final dental implant bridge is fabricated. The dental implant bridge is then attached to the implants at a second appointment. At this subsequent appointment, the fit of the bridge to the implants, adjacent teeth and opposing teeth, with be equilibrated. Dental implants allow patients to eat the foods they love and have long-lasting, beautiful teeth again. With regards to any implant-supported prosthesis, it is important that the restoring dentist be able to effectively plan and communicate the final restorative outcome with either the periodontist or oral surgeon.

This is what sets 58 Dental apart: Our experience includes not only restoring implants, but placing them as well.  We understand the anatomical requirements, as well as the restorative requirements, necessary to provide our patients with optimal form, function, and aesthetics.

Dental Implant Crown

Dental: dental implant, tooth implant, Denver, Dr. Kyle GriffithA dental implant crown is one option for the replacement of a single missing tooth. If you have lost one tooth, or are missing multiple teeth, dental implants are a great
option.

Dental implants are the closest thing to having your natural teeth back. Tooth implants are very strong and last a long time. Dental implants allow you to eat the foods that you love, like corn on the cob.

The process to make a dental implant is very detailed. Once the implant has osseointegrated, or healed, then an impression of the implant is taken. The diagnostic information is submitted to a dental lab where the final dental implant crown is fabricated. The crown is then attached to the implant at a second appointment. At this subsequent appointment, the fit of the crown to the implant, adjacent teeth and opposing teeth will be equilibrated. With regards to any implant-supported prosthesis, it is important that the restoring dentist is able to effectively plan and communicate the final restorative outcome with either the periodontist or oral surgeon.

This is what sets 58 Dental apart; our experience includes not only restoring implants but placing them, as well. We understand the anatomical requirements, as well as the restorative requirements, necessary to provide our patients with optimal form, function and aesthetics.
